Winner – Arvixe – From $4/month

arvixe-logo

Arvixe specializes in more than just one service. Instead of focusing on shared hosting or something, they offer a wide range of hosting services and do it really well. You can get shared hosting, VPS, and dedicated servers from them. Established since 2003, they offer both Windows and Linux hosting for shared hosting customers, at really good prices too.

In shared hosting plans, it currently offers two classes: Personal Class and Business Class. Personal Class plans are, as you may have guess, for personal or smaller sites while Business Class plans are more suitable for websites with heavy traffic and more resource-demanding processes. Business Class plans will be hosted on servers with better optimization too, and more system resources will be reserved for each.

Personal Class Linux plan costs $4 a month but that is not our interest here. Personal Class Windows will cost you just $5 a month. Both plans come with unlimited storage and bandwidth, and you can host up to 6 domains on it. ASP support is pretty good since it’s Windows hosting plan. Personal Class Plus for Windows is $8 a month and it will let you host unlimited domains on it. Business Class plans are different. Although they also come with unlimited storage and bandwidth, you will also get free SSL certificate and dedicated IP address. Linux plan is $22 a month, and Windows plan will be $28.

2. InterServer – From $4.95/month

Interserver-logo

A company with 14 years in existence, InterServer is pretty amazing in what they do. One of our team members have hosted a few sites at InterServer and really like what they offer.

While InterServer has shared hosting plans, which start from $4.95 a month and backed by 30-day money back guarantee. That is not our interest here. Why? Because InterServer is famous for their amazing VPS server offers. And that is what we are interested in.

Their VPS servers are, unlike many competitors’ offerings, affordable and surprisingly good for the resources they give. Usually, VPS server plans cost a lot. But InterServer has changed that. You can easily get a VPS slice at just $6 a month if you go with Linux. But hey, our interest here is to host ASP websites. So Windows VPS is the way to go, and it’s very affordable at just $22 a month because Windows has licensing prices to pay but totally worth it. For each VPS slice, you will get 25GB of storage, 376MB RAM and 6mbps connection (around 1,800GB bandwidth). CPU core begins from 1 and will increase by 1 with every 5 slices. With InterServer VPS slices, running your own ASP site from Windows VPS has never been easier.

Omnis Network is well-known for their shared cloud hosting offers with 99.9% uptime SLA. Although it is called cloud hosting, features seem to be very similar to shared hosting. On closer inspection, we found out that they allow each accounts to have CPU bursts when your sites receive heavier traffic. So that’s what they mean by cloud hosting!

One good thing about Omnis is that they offer both Linux and Windows cloud hosting. So for sites developed in ASP, Omnis is totally the way to go if you like affordable hosting services. Both plans are very similar, except they are running on different platforms. Omnis uses their own version of control panel so you can’t expect Plesk level of flexibility to control your account though, but for small sites, it wil suffice.

Linux Cloud HOsting plan will cost you $5.95 a month and comes with unlimited disk space and data transfer. Windows Cloud Hosting is, thankfully, only slightly more expensive at just $7.95 a month. You are going to get free domain name if you sign up for a year or more.

While most other companies will give you 30-day or 45-day money back guarantee, MochaHost has different offer. You can either opt for 180 days risk free or 30 days money back guarantee.
